"NOW THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL
ENCAMPED BEFORE THEM LIKE TWO LITTLE FLOCKS OF GOATS,
Israel is so little, her enemies all around her so powerful.
And yet Israel is a key to world events, a light shining in a dark
place. Israel's present emerging situation is to do with God's prophetic
word.. Please pray that God will help us His children to intercede
with spiritual intelligence, and not just from information. May we
pray led by His Holy Spirit. Her enemies have always outnumbered Israel. Iranian
President Ahmedinajad has publicly denied the Holocaust, but threatened
Israel with a new one. With his well-publicized remarks of wanting
to eliminate Israel, he is a known threat to Israel. However the situation appears in Israel, our God is in control. When Hamas say they will not stop fighting until the Jews are forced to leave the 'occupied' territory, they do not mean the pre-1967 territory. They want the whole of Palestine, the land given to Great Britain by the League of Nations Mandate to establish a homeland for the Jews. They will not rest until all 'occupied land' is back in Muslim hands. Haifa; Jaffa; Ashkelon; Jerusalem; Ashdod; Tiberieus etc. "O thou that tellest good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up be not afraid, say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! Behold the Lord Jehovah will come as a mighty one, and His arm will rule for Him,behold His reward is with Him and His recompense before Him."Isa.40:9-10; Iranian officials have publicly denied reports that the country is planning to legislate a law requiring Jews to wear yellow badges. Please pray this atrocity will not be repeated. "The lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies, the Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked." Nah.1:2b-3 Many Israelis do not understand why their country is the centre of worldwide focus and attention. They do not understand the anti - Semitic attitude that so many countries display towards them. Please pray that they will be given revelation in the Scriptures and realize that the battle is due to their rebellion and disbelief. "In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them and He carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; so He turned Himself against them as an enemy, and He fought against them." Isa.63:9-10 The IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz told the Knesset that he would not recommend conquering Gaza in response to the escalation in Kassam rocket attacks on Israeli communities. He said the defense establishment is making a great effort to find technological solutions to better contend with Palestinian rocket fire from the Gaza Strip. Please pray against the growing number of well organized
campaigns by a British teachers union, and continuing attempts by
the Presbyterian and other churches to promote divestments against
Israel. That their unrighteous plans will not proceed. "Thus says Ben-Hadad 'Your silver and gold are mine; your loveliest wives and children are mine.' And the king of Israel answered and said" My lord, O my king, just as you say, I and all that I have are yours." Please pray that Ehud Olmert would stop capitulating to the demands of his enemies, to give in to their demands, and understand the enemy will never be satisfied but want more and more, " ..I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they will search your house and the houses of your servants. And it shall be, that whatever is pleasant in your eyes, they will put it in their hands and take it." Please pray that the enemy will go too far in his demands and cause Olmert to have a change of heart concerning his plan to transfer 90-95% of West Bank to the PA displacing 100,000 Israelis and destroying 100 towns and villages. "Therefore he said to the messengers of Ben-Hadad 'Tell my lord the king, 'all that you sent for to your servant the first time I will do, but this thing I cannot do."1Kings 20:2b-4;6;9; 1Kings 21 gives the account of Naboth's vineyard being
seized through treachery, lies, violence and murder by Ahab king of
Israel. The same applies today with Israel's neighbours who have vast
wealth trying to seize tiny Israel, God's vineyard. But as in the
account of Naboth, God sees everything, vv 17-18, and He will avenge
His name, vv 19-14."He who sits in
the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then
He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep
displeasure;" PS.2:4-5 God desires that none should perish, please pray for the enemies of Israel, that their eyes would continue to be opened to the true God and revelation given to them regarding Allah the 'god' they worship. "Say to them 'As I live' says the Lord God, 'I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked , but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, from your evil ways!" Ezek.33:11 "Now Lord, look on their threats. . . " Acts 4:29 According to the Arab Media Christian Zionism is a dangerous distortion from the 'true Christian faith' because it defends a national political programme that considers the Jewish race supreme. Christian and Jewish Zionists are seen as the greatest danger to world truth, justice and peace. Faithful Muslims are encouraged to kill the Zionists wherever they are found. . ."and don't leave even one". (Jerusalem Newswire) "Grant your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word. . ." v29 b. Please pray for fearless preaching of God's word and for protection and personal safety for each believer. "and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. . ." v 31b Please pray that the believers may be empowered by God for speaking; serving; witnessing; and that the leaders will be filled with God's wisdom for shepherding, guiding, and disciplining their flocks with godly discipline. "Nor was there among them anyone who lacked. . " v34 More Israelis are living below the poverty line than in all their history. Please pray for those who distribute aid wherever needs arise; for a generous spirit and for fair distribution, that the many Christian charities may be witnesses to glorify God. "And great grace was upon them all…"v33 b Please pray that this distinctive may be seen in the churches in Israel. There are 4 more distinctives in Acts. Fear;5:5; persecution;8:1; joy; 8:8; 15:3; and a great number who believed. 11:21. Please pray that as God's bride the church is persecuted and fearful, they would be comforted and strengthened by His joy, that they would be able to give an account to all who ask them for the reason for their joy. And as a consequence a great number would be added to the church daily. Many assemblies are complex due to multi-national and cultural differences; please pray that the "Shalom which comes from the Messiah be their hearts decision maker." of individuals Jews to guide them through scripture to their Messiah.

but that the government would not place their trust in him, but in
the covenant keeping God of Israel. "Fear
not, for I AM with you; be not dismayed, for I AM your God, I will
strengthen you, yes I will help you. . . "Isa.41:10 Please praise God for the significant breakthroughs being made by the intelligence services in preventing drug smuggling which is rampant in Israel. Crime Bosses are being put behind bars. Please pray that Christian prison visitors would be able to reach them with the gospel of salvation, that they would meet their Messiah whilst behind bars, that they might receive His forgiveness. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has written to George
Bush, "The whole world is moving towards God, would Your Excellency
not wish to join?" This is in the tradition of Muhammad who would
write to world leaders offering them a secure place in paradise if
they converted to Islam, or to cling to their beliefs and face the
sword of Islam." This was done before declaring war on the 'infidels'.
Please pray there would be no compromise by Bush with this very dangerous
man. "He who hates, disguises it with
his lips, and lays up deceit within himself; when he speaks kindly,
do not believe him, for there are seven abominations in his heart.
Though his hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness will be revealed
before the assembly."Prov.26:23-25
